The Waikiki Yacht Club offers a great environment for power boaters. Immediately outside of the Ala Wai boat harbor lie the picturesque Waikiki Beach coastline and great fishing grounds. Conveniently located within the boat harbor are a commercial fuel dock and a commercial dry dock with accompanying marine chandlery.

Club members may want to take advantage of the club’s work dock, small boat hoist capable of lifting 4,000 pounds, and stationary A-frame lift.

Power boaters can participate in a variety of activities sponsored or hosted by the Waikiki Yacht Club. These include fishing tournaments, cruises, and volunteer support for long-distance outrigger canoe paddling races and sailing regattas. Safety on the water is of paramount importance, and the Waikiki Yacht Club hosts the Honolulu Sail and Power Squadron’s Boating Courses, offered to novice and advanced boaters.
